Happily Married

This summer has been an incredible journey for me. I recently got married to the love of my life and am very blessed to have begun new adventures with an incredibly loving person. With getting married, there were many, many planning details to organize and my creativity overflowed. If you are planning a wedding, then you will love my DIY section that I will be adding. I love crafts and a wedding was the perfect opportunity to showcase that love. In honor of getting back to blogging after taking time off for my wedding, I thought now would be a great moment to share some pictures from the wedding day and include some local vendor details.

Getting ready before going to the chapel. My hair stylist captured my half up vision and assisted in providing a stress-free morning. The less stress a bride can be is worth any added expense. I could of easily styled my own hair, but I wanted to be as relaxed as possible. I did decide to do my own makeup, because I am well-equipped to take on that area. Plus, I simply enjoy

**I will be providing a more detailed bridal makeup tutorial in my upcoming posts. I look forward to sharing some tips for keeping your makeup looking fresh throughout your special day.

My beautiful mother assisting me with the veil. I wanted a long veil, an even longer veil than I had but I decided on a cathedral veil. My dress train was chapel length and this allowed for my veil to extend beyond the train. I loved the beautiful hand sewed veil detail on the outer edges of my veil.

How beautiful our my bridesmaids and flower girl?! My bridal party in my favorite color: turquoise! This color was the perfect color for summer and very flattering with any skin tone. I went with all white flowers, because I like the classy and clean look of white. The flowers of my bridesmaid and flower girl pulled together the white tone of my dress.

My dress style was a fit and fare with a sweetheart neckline. I recommend having your final fitting scheduled closer to the wedding day, because my weight fluctuated throughout the wedding planning process. I was happy that my dress still by the special day since my final fitting was a month before!

My nail polish was a peachy nude color. This tone is more my style than the popular French tip look. My nails had a gel overlay on top of my actual nails. Which provided a natural look and allowed my manicure to last for two weeks.

In the chapel after the ceremony, we shared a moment together and had the best day! #soinlove
