Winter Bridesmaid Style

Weddington Way asked me to be apart of styling a bridesmaid dress for a winter wedding. Classic black is a trendsetting color for 2015 and continues to be an iconic color for fashion. This black palette allows the Bride to create the perfect vision for her wedding. Whether her vision is to maintain a simplistic appearance with minimal accessories, or to dress up the bridesmaids with sparkling jewelry. The one-shoulder style is another trend for 2015, which will capture hearts of every trendy Bride. What an honor to be invited as a member of a Bridal Party, as you join in celebration of a beloved person in your life. With winter weddings, our lovely brides will want to think about ways to stay warm on these cold days. I added options for Brides to be able to keep their Bridal party warm, yet maintain a sense of elegance with fur shawls or beautiful silk creme-colored wraps. Scroll on to find out more detail about each piece chosen for this winter wedding collection.

Winter Wedding

One
  • These fur shawls will not only bring warmth to your bridesmaids, but also classiness! The cream-colored silk wrap will also add sophistication and provide that added warmth without taking away from the beauty of this black dress.

Two
  • How beautiful are these teardrop earrings? They are the perfect touch of sparkle along with the glamorous Vionnet bracelet, this bridal party will be ready to represent you on the big day!

Three
  • The BCBG lace heels are feminine and formal. They are the touch of pattern to this beautiful black bridesmaid dress. While the other heels are consistent with the creme-colored shine of the jewelry.

I decided to keep the accessories to a neutral color, which will allow the flowers from the boutique to provide that desired pop of color.

This boutique is perfect for a winter wedding, because the colors are not colorful summer and spring tones, rather relevant to neutral tones of winter. Flowers readily available in winter months would be Amaryllis, Ranunculus, and Carnations. But ladies, do not be afraid to use vibrant colored flowers for a winter wedding. Every off-season wedding does not have to emulate a cold, wintery day. I am simply sharing my personal style perspective on a winter wonderland wedding theme!

May you find inspiration in these elegant choices and have a Happy Wedding Day! *To find other bridesmaid dresses from Weddington Way click here.
